Looking to change the handle on your Shimano Tranx Reel? This Shimano TranxPaddleHandle is OEM and is made to fit all Tranx 300A and 400A size reels. This handle fits the Tranx 300, 301, 300HG, 301HG, 400, 401, 400HG, 401HG.

This Shimano made handle is easy to replace, justremoveyour existing nut lock screw, the nut lock plate, and the chrome nut. Remove your existing handle and replace it with the new handle. Be careful that the drag star doesn't pop off, it has a spring under it which gives itpressure from below. Replace the parts you took offmaking sure not toover tighten the chrome nut. The nut lockplate might take a little adjustment so the plate nut screw lines up with the screw hole.

The version is a single knob to give you a better grip and more power on bigger fish. The powerhandle works best when you need more power and torque on bigger fish. We find the powerhandle is better on bigger fish or if you have a problem with your hand slipping off on an aggressive bite. On the west coast, we like the power handle for fishing surface irons and yoyo irons like the Salas 7X, Salas 6X or Tady 45 and Tady 4/0.
